The Tobin Beaudet School is a small, independent program that offers before- and after-school care, as well as kindergarten and summer programs.
Before School Program
The before school program provides families with early morning care and activities for children who attend Newman Elementary School. Kids have a place to eat breakfast, socialize and do art projects. The program is open Monday – Friday at 7:00am.
After School Program
The after school program for children in grades 3-8, known as Club 1458, offers a nurturing environment for children to participate in age-appropriate activities such as arts and crafts, sports, gardening, and language studies. Students have structured activities and a space to complete their homework. The service is available throughout the school year during regular school days, early release, professional days, school vacations, and on snow days.
The program offers flexible scheduling with 1-day to 5-days per week options, and is open until 6:30pm.
Kindergarten
Families choose between two private kindergarten options, either half-day or full-day classes. The program offers flexible scheduling to support the needs of each family. It complements the Needham public schools programs and children can attend Tobin Beaudet after public school. Curriculum-based learning includes language arts, handwriting and social studies, math and science. Enrichment activities include animal science, languages, music and fitness.
Summer Program
The summer program at Tobin Beaudet offers activities for children aged 4 – 13 years. The program offers flexible schedules allowing families to choose the days and weeks that children are enrolled. Age-appropriate activities include magic and puppet shows, swimming lessons and field trips, among others.
