Pine Village is a full immersion language school for children aged 15 months – 6 years (PreK). The educators speak in Spanish throughout the entire day. Children are not required to respond in Spanish and teachers will speak in English as needed to ensure all children feel supported and nurtured. The children’s ability to accept and understand Spanish comes as they progress through the program.
There are two locations in Newton. The West Newton facility is in the First Unitarian Society building on Washington Street. The Newton Highlands facility is in the Newton Highland Congregational Church on Lincoln Street.
Mission
The school’s mission is to educate and nurture each child’s individuality within a culturally diverse, bilingual community so that every child develops a true passion for learning and an ability to engage in any environment and community.
