Lesley Ellis offers 3, 4, and 5, day options for preschool aged children. Young learners are introduced to Spanish, music, and physical education. Process-based visual arts activities ensure opportunities for self-expression, and literacy, math, and science are woven into the play-based curriculum. Children receive a solid foundation and are prepared for a more structured instruction that begins in kindergarten.
Early Childhood Programs
Lesley Ellis offers preschool, prekindergarten, and transitional kindergarten programs. The safe classroom environments support students’ sense of autonomy, while keeping them fully engaged in creative activities throughout the day.
- Preschool. The preschool day is all about having fun while developing a solid foundation for learning.
- Prekindergarten. Students are immersed in stimulating hands-on activities, enabling them to learn new skills while socializing with peers. They begin to develop longer attention spans and the ability to verbalize their ideas.
- Transitional Kindergarten. This program is designed for children who are either not quite old enough for kindergarten or who need a little more time before taking the next step. It blends hands-on learning experiences with more structured, academic activities.
