First Path Day Care Center

First Path Day Care Center offers more than daycare, educating children with a curriculum that includes music, dance, cooking projects and field trips. Through varied programs, children learn life lessons from the beginning, including independence as well as teamwork. Children learn the value of leadership, support, and emotional responsibility.

Mission

First Path Day Care encourages a positive approach to life-long learning in each child. They create an environment that stimulates a variety of learning experiences in all areas of cognitive, physical, social and emotional development.

Programs

The Center accepts infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children. First Path engages infants and toddlers in physical, emotional, intellectual and language development appropriate for their age group. The preschool program introduces children to math, reading, geography, biology, history, drawing and other arts and social studies, which may include Russian language (if requested by parents).

Children have access to a playground and large playing field located nearby at Saltonstall Park, a public green space with a playing field, basketball court, and children’s play equipment.

Staff

The staff at First Path meets or exceeds the state requirements for teacher certification.
