Credit: Children’s Village
Children’s Village is an independent not-for-profit childcare center and preschool serving families with children between 10 weeks to 5 years of age. Each classroom has a tailored daily routine, teaching team, and curricular goals designed to meet specific developmental needs. Founded in 1972, the Children’s Village provides on-site music, storytelling, yoga, and nature / science programs to extend children’s learning beyond the classroom.
The school is a NAEYC accredited childcare center and preschool.
Mission
The Children’s Village aims to provide a warm, secure, and engaging environment for children. Their goal is to use play to foster a disposition for life long learning.
Programs
The school is open year round, Monday through Friday, from 8:00am – 6:00pm. Students can be enrolled for 2, 3, 4, or 5 days per week.
Teachers
The staff consist of early childhood professionals. Teachers work in teams based on experience, education, enthusiasm, and dedication. The staff provide developmentally appropriate interventions and positive role modeling.
