Baby Academy is a Russian language child care program, helping preschool-aged children from Russian-speaking backgrounds preserve their language, heritage and culture. The program aims to provide each child with a wide range of learning experiences across visual, verbal, tactile, social, cultural, formal and informal experiences. Age-appropriate educational activities are held in small groups.

Facility

The indoor space includes large playrooms, classrooms, eat-in kitchens and separate nap rooms with toddler beds. Indoor areas are well-ventilated and cleaned with specialized non-toxic natural cleaning products. Air-humidifiers are used in the nap rooms during winter months, as needed. Children enjoy two outdoor playgrounds, weather permitting.

Meals

Homemade meals are cooked fresh on premises using organic and natural ingredients and offered daily. The diverse menu incorporates a variety of grains, proteins and fresh vegetables, as well as a selection of fresh fruit and berries. Several water breaks are scheduled throughout the day.

Preschool

Sister school, Star Academy in Watertown, is a private school for children in preschool through grade 5.
