Camp Pikati provides kids aged 3-15 with opportunities to enjoy theme-based weekly camps throughout the summer. There is a half day option for the youngest campers who explore new experiences, develop friendships and learn socialization skills. A leader-in-training program is designed for the older kids who assist counselors in daily operations, programming and camper supervision.
Activities
The traditional day camp is designed with age-appropriate weekly themes such as Under the Sea, Superheroes, Space Week, and other creative and engaging themes. Campers will also participate in various activities such as sports, arts & crafts, gaga ball and archery, among others. All sessions include swim lessons.
Specialty Sports Camps
Participants in Pikati’s sports camp sessions focus on a different sport each week. Campers learn skills and practice technique. Through drills and games, counselors help kids develop a sense of healthy competition. Sports campers will also enjoy swim lessons and gain aquatics safety skills and confidence.
Nutrition
All Pikati sessions include an optional free lunch and snacks through the YMCA Camp’s partnership with Bentley University and the Summer Eats program, Massachusett’s federally-funded summer food service program.
