West End House Girls Camp is an overnight summer camp for girls aged 7-15. West End intentionally maintains a small, progressively multi-cultural, camper-focused environment.
Mission
West End House Girls Camp aims to positively influence the lives of girls by providing them with skills, support and opportunities needed to grow into healthy, productive, and responsible women in an inclusive and intentionally multi-cultural environment.
Programs
Girls enjoy a multitude of outdoor activities, from canoeing, hiking and trampolining, to lake swimming and tubing. Sports include volleyball, basketball and archery, among others.
Location and Facilities
The camp is located in Southern Maine on the shores of Long Pond.
Campers live in cedar cabins with 10 bunkmates and 2-4 counselors. Each cabin includes full size twin bunk beds, private bathrooms and shower facilities, electricity, and a front porch. Campers are required to bring their own bed linens, pillow and sleeping bag.
Three daily meals prepared from scratch are served in the mess hall. West End House is a nut-free campus.
