this place is hit or miss. sometimes the lessons are great, sometimes they’re lousy. we have continued over the past year or so because it’s convenient. so this write up is based on 5 sessions (9-10 weeks each, 1 day per week) and multiple vacation/summer camp days/weeks of junior tennis. if you win the tennis lotto and get one of the better instructors who can both teach tennis and keep kids focused then it’s a great class. there are only a couple of those good instructors on staff. if the instructor has only one of those skills, then you’ve wasted your money. your kid will end up waiting in line for most of the class, spinning in circles with the other bored kids, get zero instruction on how to hold a racquet and maybe hit about 20 tossed balls. the kids might have fun. but are you paying for play time or tennis?

the other issue with this place is the courts. they’re sinking into the swamp land upon which they’re built. the website says state of the art facility which is hysterical. take a glance at courts 3 and 4. they’re sinking. literally sinking. court 1a is an old basketball court with music piped in from the bar next door.

Agree! Plus the club is a mess. The clocks are always wrong. The courts are dirty and uneven. The staff is grumpy.
