The Umbrella Arts Center
The Umbrella Arts Center offers fine arts education for kids aged 4 – 14, as well as a counselor-in-training program for high school students. During the Summer Arts Under the Umbrella Camp, children will explore, make things, build skills and discover a lifelong love of the arts.
In the creative and nurturing environment offered within a renovated arts center in the heart of historic Concord, kids will enjoy drawing and painting, 2D and 3D mixed media, ceramics, woodworking, performance, and more. Week long sessions run from July through August. Half day morning and afternoon sessions are available, as well as full day classes.
February and April Vacation Breaks
Themed school vacation week programs offer students in preK through 8th grade opportunities for creative exploration and social interactions in a safe and fun environment. The will learn new skills and complete projects in drawing, painting, 2D and 3D mixed-media sculpture, ceramics, art and entertainment, woodworking, performance, and more. Half day and full day options are available.
Staff
Experienced instructors are practicing artists, arts educators, working studio artists, theater practitioners, and teachers. They share a love of art with a keen awareness of the developmental needs of children and young adults.
