K-12 students can choose from a variety of online or in-person math courses to reinforce or enhance their knowledge and prepare for the upcoming school year.
Math courses open in June and typically run over a 6 week period with 2 classes per week.
Elementary School (K-4) Courses
With courses designed for students as young as Kindergarten, the Russian School of Mathematics will help kids learn geometric shapes, practice math language and develop abstract thinking and problem solving skills.
Middle School (Grades 5-8) Courses
Students will use logic, develop reasoning skills, advance their mental calculations and explore algebra and geometry. The school offers advanced topics to enhance word and logic problem solving and prepare kids for math competitions.
Kids can develop test-taking skills and prepare for the math section of independent private school entrance exams.
High School Courses
Recommended for rising 9th and 10th grade students, high school math prep covers Algebra I and Algebra II. Students will study functions, square root equations and quadratic equations as well as trigonometry.
Other high school level courses include Pre-Calculus, Calculus Prep, ISEE/SSAT, and AMC 10 Prep.
Russian School of Mathematics Online
Held in live virtual classrooms, the class will comprise up to 12 students and a teacher.
