Piccadilly Players runs two-week long summer sessions for children in grades K–8. Students will rehearse and perform a complete musical production. Regular activities include theater games, costume and set construction, singing, dancing, and acting. Kids who are interested in the technical side of theater production may join the program as part of the set crew. Additionally, special leadership roles are available to middle school aged participants as actors, choreographers, stage managers, or assistant directors. Each session culminates in a performance for family and friends. All sessions are held in the parish center of St. Zepherin Church in Wayland.
Counselors In Training
Piccadilly Player participants who are age 13+ can register to be CITs. As CITs, students learn how to direct actors in singing, dancing, acting, and set / costume design. CITs receive complete tuition reimbursement for participation in the program and are in training to become counselors in future years.
