Ocean Protection Advocacy Kids empowers youth in grades 3-8 to become ambassadors for the environment. Summer programs are offered at locations on Cape Cod, Massachusetts as well as on New Jersey shore.
Summer Programs
Most courses are three day or five day programs. The primary focus is on teaching kids about marine life and helping students develop advocacy skills through various formats, including performances, creative writing, and the arts.
Prior summer programs have included various activities such as researching and exploring local waterways, creating ocean art, and interactive games and chemistry experiments. Check the OPAK website for upcoming summer programs.
Workshops
OPAK also offers marine education workshops throughout the year for middle school and high school students.
