Credit: La Vida Adirondack Leadership Program
La Vida Adirondack Leadership Program is a 9-day adventure during June and July for kids aged 15-18. Located in Adirondack Park of New York, the camp focuses on leadership development, community and spiritual foundation.
The camp is part of the La Vida Center for Outdoor Education and Leadership at Gordon College, a liberal arts Christian college whose goals are to foster character development, positive self-identity, and a commitment to care for others from a Christian perspective.
Activities
- Team building activities and problem-solving initiatives on the trail or the water
- Outdoor adventures while rock climbing, navigating the high ropes course, canoeing, backpacking and camping
- Develop leadership skills through decision making initiatives
- Bible study, reflection, and goal-setting
Transportation
Transportation from Gordon College to the La Vida Base Camp in New York is available. An additional fee applies.

La Vida also offers a summer day camp in Wenham, Massachusetts for kids aged 10-15, as well as a CIT program for high school students.
