Grotonwood is a Christian co-ed day and overnight camp for kids of all ages. Faith based programming shares fundamental Christian values. Practical activities include prayer, singing and dancing to christian inspired music, and daily chapel service. Participation in faith based activities is voluntary and no religious affiliation is required.
Camp Programs
- Day Camp – The camp runs up to 8 weekly sessions each summer from June to August. Lunch and snack is included. Campers may bring pocket money on Fridays to spend at the camp store. Register early for discounted pricing.
- Overnight Camp – Weekly sessions run from June to August. Campers sleep in shared cabins that include bunk beds and private bathrooms. Electronic devices are not permitted. Families may send a care package and email to their camper to share news from home. Overnight campers can purchase merchandise such as clothing, water bottles, plush toys, or writing supplies from the camp store.
Activities
A variety of activities are offered daily, including archery, fishing, camp fires, rock climbing, boating, crafts, hiking, sports, chapel time, singing, ropes course, and many more.
Lunch
A daily hot lunch and afternoon snack is provided. A typical meal includes chicken patty, tater tots and a salad. Afternoon snack may include a fruit cup, popcorn or a popsicle.
Menu items cater to vegetarian, vegan, lacto-free, and gluten free diets. The kitchen can accommodate allergy and dietary restrictions with advanced notice.

Needs based financial assistance may be available. Families can inquire about financial aid by completing an online Campership Program form.
