The Community Art Center has been a cornerstone institution in Cambridge since 1937. School age and teen programs are supported by the community and public art initiatives. The center offers a summer program from late June through August for kids aged 5-12.

Field trips include beaches, art museums and historical sites.  Classes include hula dancing, filmmaking, mural-making, songwriting, and more.

Mission

Their mission is to cultivate an engaged community of youth whose powerful artistic voices transform their lives, their neighborhoods, and their worlds. They achieve their mission through intensive, year-round activities through youth-led community programming that engages local and national audiences in quality artistic experiences.

Financial Assistance

Vouchers and private pay is accepted at a daily rate.
