Credit: Camp Nashoba Day
Camp Nashoba offers a traditional summer camp experiences for kids aged 5-15. The 80+ acres of camp property and surrounding conservation land includes pastures, woodlands, hiking paths, trails, orchards and ponds. Campers engage in bird watching, gardening, nature observation, swimming, boating and horseback riding, among many other activities.
During each two-weeks session, campers receive instruction from talented staff and learn to appreciate the environment while engaging in aquatics, sports, horsemanship, fishing, archery, waterskiing, and many other activities.
Staff and Counselors
The staff at Nashoba Day is comprised of teachers, graduate and undergraduate college students with a variety of skills and expertise, with support from select high school students who have attended Nashoba for at least 8 years. Staff members are chosen for their diverse experiences, love of children, exceptional recommendations, enthusiasm and ability to teach their activity area. All counselors are CPR and First Aid certified and the entire waterfront staff are certified ARC lifeguards.
Extended Hours
Early morning drop off at 8:00am and extended afternoon hours until 6:00pm are available for an additional fee.
Transportation
Tuition includes transportation to/from designated locations in nearby towns, including Acton, Bedford, Boxboro, Carlisle, Chelmsford, Concord, Harvard, Lexington, Littleton and Westford.
