Detailed Information

Broadmoor Nature Camp offers kids aged 4-14 opportunities to create lifelong memories through guided outdoor explorations, games, hands-on activities, and crafts. Participants learn about their place in nature as well as the importance of preserving it. Small group sizes ensure that campers stay safe and engaged with role models who are creative, knowledgeable and enthusiastic.

The Broadmoor Wildlife Sanctuary is an ever-changing environment teeming with wildlife: dragonflies, turtles, otters, and more than 150 species of birds. Easy-to-moderate well-groomed trails lead participants through the shade of mature woodlands into open fields and along the edges of streams, ponds and marshland.

Staff

Camp staff is passionate about sharing the joy and excitement of outdoors with children. Lead educators are mostly college graduates with proven camp leadership experience. Assistant educators are at least 17 years old and have experience supervising children. All staff undergo a rigorous interview process that includes background checks as well as safety training and child development.

Schedule

The camp offers both half-day and full-day sessions for one week or two week sessions during June through August. Extended day hours are available for an additional fee.
