Boating for Teens is a program designed for students who have some experience on the water and are looking to fine tune their boating skills. The camp is geared toward campers aged 13-15. Teen Camp is offered at four-week increments, giving campers the opportunity to demonstrate leadership skills and to learn more advanced boating techniques.
Weather permitting, kids will be boating 90% of the time. Campers should wear shorts, shirts, rubber-soled shoes (no flip flops) and should bring additional clothing depending on the forecast. The Natick camp is held at Natick Boathouse on Lake Cochituate in Cochituate State Park.
Mission
Boating in Boston camps teach campers both independence and teamwork and promote self-confidence through sailing and paddle sports.
Staff
Camper to staff ratio is maintained at 8 to 1. Each camper is assigned to a specific counselor during each session.
