Detailed Information

Camp Joy offers a summer program for Boston residents aged 3-22 with special needs. Camper siblings aged 3-7 are also welcome to register for Camp Joy. The structured programs are designed to:

  • promote peer-to-peer socialization;
  • foster individualized growth and development; and
  • connect participants and families to valuable community resources.

The four week summer program offers an inclusive and supportive environment for the kids.

Staff

Each BCYF Camp Joy site has a licensed nurse and all staff are professionally trained and CPR certified.

Meals

Campers receive a nutritious breakfast and lunch.

Transportation

Door-to-door transportation is available.

The Center supports children, youth, and families through a range of services with a mission to enhance residents’ quality of life through partnerships with community center councils, agencies and businesses. BCYF manages various adult education classes, community centers and pools, childcare programs, gymnasiums, senior programs, and other activities and events.
