The Boston Centers for Youth & Families offers summer programs for girls aged 9-12. Workshops are centered around specific topics such as self-esteem, nutrition and fitness, health relationships, body image, and leadership skills. Participants will engage in memorable adventures. Previous activities have included rock climbing, kayaking, and hiking.

Acceptance into the program is on a first-come, first-served basis. The Adventure Girls summer experience is held during July and August.

The Center supports children, youth, and families through a range of services with a mission to enhance residents’ quality of life through partnerships with community center councils, agencies and businesses. BCYF manages various adult education classes, community centers and pools, childcare programs, gymnasiums, senior programs, and other activities and events.
