Russian School of Mathematics offers courses and teaching based on math schools in the former Soviet Union, adapted to the U.S. environment. The challenging and continuous program is for students in Kindergarten through high school. They will develop a deep math foundation, intellect, and character.
Classes meet for 1.5 hours – 2 hours or more per week, depending on the age. Each classroom consists of up to 12 students and an expert teacher. Students will receive weekly homework assignments.
The curriculum is designed with multiple levels within each grade to ensure children are placed in an environment that best suits them. Each child is supported based on their individual knowledge and ability.
- Accelerated Level – The best fit for new students with curriculum designed to bring students to the level of international standards.
- Advanced Level – A challenging mathematics curriculum that provides deep understanding, reasoning skills and self-confidence.
- Honors Level – A rigorous curriculum that goes into great depth, regularly employing competition-level problems.
