The Massachusetts Gymnastics Center offers various gymnastics programs for kids as young as 18 months. Boys and girls gain confidence, increase physical ability and develop discipline to achieve personal goals. Student placement is based on age and ability.

Gymnastics Programs
Little Star Preschool Program (18 mo – 5 yo)
The preschool program emphasizes learning in a fun, safe environment. Children develop coordination, balance, creativity, basic tumbling and self-esteem. They participate and learn in a group environment.
Classes are 45 minutes and require parent/guardian participation for children aged 18 months through 3.5 years. MGC maintains a student:teacher ratio of 8:1 or lower.
Recreational Grade School Classes (Ages 5+)
Recreational Grade School Classes are designed for boys and girls aged 5 and up and run for an hour. Classes include a 15-minute warm-up and 45 minutes of instructional training. Students participate once per week. The progressive system at MGC is modeled after the USA Gymnastics Junior Olympic Program. Lessons emphasize basic fundamentals such as body alignment, posture, correct hand and foot placement, as well as proper skill progression.

USA Gymnastics Programs
MGC’s XCEL Program is part of USA Gymnastics designed for gymnasts who want the challenge of routines and competition without a major time commitment. Workouts range from 4 hours to 9 hours per week, depending on the skill level. The XCEL Program requires a September through June commitment.
The Junior Olympic Girls Team Program provides instruction for gymnasts who have a solid foundation of basic skills. Divided into three major segments, the Junior Olympic program consists of various skills levels as well as competitive opportunities.
Coaches
Coaches include past and present gymnasts with extensive knowledge and teaching abilities as well as an understanding of how to work with children. Lesson plans use a personalized positive teaching style.
MGC maintains a student to teacher ratio of 8:1 or lower to ensure that each child receives individual attention.
Facilities
The state-of-the-art facilities include trampolines, a foam safety landing pit, a 40×40 square foot spring floor, and Olympic equipment.
Locations
The Massachusetts Gymnastics Center also operates facilities in Hingham, Leominster, Pembroke, Sudbury, and Waltham.
Parties
Your children, aged 3 and up, can celebrate their birthdays at Massachusetts Gymnastics Center! Choose between either a Basic or Deluxe party package. Depending on the selected package, MGC will provide staff, party room, paper goods and utensils, cake, juice and balloons. Up to 25 children can attend for a 90 minute party, including an hour of gymnastics.
