Detailed Information

The Concord Recreation Center offers various before and after school programs for kids in grades K-5.

Before School

Early morning care from 7:30am – 9:00am for kids in grades K-5 at each elementary school.

After School

Extended day care until 6:00pm for students in K-5. The daily schedule includes supervised indoor and outdoor play, special events, homework study time, arts and crafts, and other projects.

Early Release Day Program

Designed for kids in grades K-5, the Early Release program on Wednesdays is held at the Hunt Recreation Center from 12:30pm – 6:00pm. Transportation from each elementary school is provided.

Other Events

Community events are held throughout the year. Most are free and seasonally based. Past events have included outdoor concerts, fishing derby, tree lighting ceremony, egg hunt and block parties.

Other Information

The before and after school programs are licensed by the Department of Early Education and Care.
