Brookline Music School

Brookline Music School has provided excellence in music education since 1924. The school offers a variety of music classes and programs for all ages and abilities. Private lessons are also available.

Enrollment is open year-round so students may begin private lesson study at any time.

Classes

• Early Childhood and Discovering Instrument Classes are based on music learning theory. Young students from infants to age 4 are guided through the stages of music learning. They develop a lifelong enjoyment of music and a foundation to prepare for formal instruction. Classes are 50 minutes, once per week for 10 weeks. There are three semesters from fall to spring.
• Piano classes are offered for preK and older students. Music Moves teaches musicians to hear what they play and to play what they hear in engaging and fun classes. Piano for All Children provides instruction to children who fall outside the range of typical development in the social, psychological, cognitive, motor, or emotional realms.
• Move, Sing, Drum classes engage students in music making and learning activities such as singing, moving, listening, improvisation and performing on percussion and tonebar instruments.
