Boston Rhythmic offers rhythmic gymnastics classes for all ages with classes for preschoolers through competitive gymnasts. The school’s vision is based on innovation, outside the box thinking, and top notch training. They offer an experience for each gymnast that fosters confidence and opportunities to learn things they have never tried before.
The sister school, Rhythmic Dreams, is located in Needham Heights.
Programs
The program runs from September through June. Classes are grouped by age and ability.
Rhythmic gymnastics uses props such as balls, scarves, or stuffed animals. Coaches lead students through stretches, body skills, and apparatus tricks, improving the child’s strength, flexibility, and coordination.
Preschool children will learn various skills, from arch, bridge, airplane balance, to ball bounce, ball roll and more. As students progress, they will further develop skills in splits, rope jumping, handstands and candlesticks. Gymnasts that develop apparatus handling and more advanced skills may progress to competitive gymnastics with the Xcel, Junior Olympics, and Elite Teams.
Registration
Online registration is available and tuition payment is due at the first of each month. New participants may register for a free trial class.
