Baystate Aquatics Instructional Technologies (BAIT), a Gator Swim Club program, provides small group, semi-private and private swim instruction for all levels, from beginner through pre-competitive. The program is designed to teach safe action both in and around water.
Digital Video Analysis
Combining cutting edge technology with experienced coach consultants, BAIT offers digital video analysis to allow students to gain insights into both above and below water assessments of an their stroke performance and to develop suggestions for improvement. Swimmers benefit from the opportunity to review multiple vantage points of their own actions and identify techniques to improve their swimming skills.
Students enrolled in a swim instruction program may elect to add digital video analysis for an additional fee.
Coaching Staff
Offering a low student-to-instructor ratio, coaches take a deep interest in each swimmer. The instructors have competitive swimming backgrounds, experience working with kids, and many are lifeguard certified.
Swim Assessments
New registrants can contact BAIT at baitlessons@gmail.com for the date and location of upcoming open assessment sessions.
Training Facilities
BAIT holds swim lessons and practices at the Waltham Boys and Girls Club in Waltham and the Charles M. Dana pool at Bentley University. Classes are offered Monday evenings and during the weekend.
