We went to a 4 year old birthday party at Kidville and the kids all seemed to be having a great time. They used one room for crafts and later for cake, and a separate space filled with bouncy stuff for the kids to jump around and play. It was crowded because parents still mill about at that age and often bring younger siblings. But, it is a good indoor option when the weather is lousy. Does anyone have other suggestions for good indoor spaces? We were also going to check out Launch but haven't actually been to a party there.
We have been to multiple kid parties at My Gym (newton location) and all have been great. The staff have the program down perfectly, keeping the kids entertained, free play and time at the end for pizza and cake.
Other locations to consider Kidville in Wellesley (though we found it to be too small to be comfortable), Drumlin Farm and Jump On In.
