What's your advice for labeling all the items for school? Backpacks, bottles, clothes, jackets, hats....

I'm capable of figuring out the simple solutions - a sharpie - but curious if anyone has any other simple ideas that actually work? Iron ons tend to either fall off or look matted and so used after just a few washes. Sew ons take forever (4 young kids!!)

Thanks, Pat

Sharpie! I put our kids' names and the teachers. We've only lost 1 water bottle in the past 5 years of elementary school.

I bought a bunch of iron ons. They looked so cute wit little animals. Etsy. The ironing wasn't my favorite but so far have stayed on through multiple wash/dry.

We used mabels labels because of the discount with school code. Not perfect they fall off, but it's easy and if a label falls off just stick on a new one and move on.
