Ski Bradford is an excellent family ski area that offers some of the best learn-to-ski programs for kids near Boston. Lessons are taught by skilled and patient instructors. The mountain has 9 lifts, 3 triple chairs, a terrain park, a novice carpet conveyor, night skiing, and 100% snow making. One hour private or group lessons are available for ages 4+ (snowboarders age 6+) at all levels. Register in advance online or at the information desk. Sign up must be completed at least 20 minutes prior to the start of the lesson. Walk-in lessons may only be available during nights and weekends. Various programs, including half-day weekend ski or snowboard, weekday ski, night ski or snowboard, and 45-minute classes for beginners aged 4-5, are offered on the mountain. Clinics are also offered during school vacations in December and February for both skiers and snow boarders. Lessons are offered for all experience levels, including for students with no experience and are new to snow sports to experienced skiers and boarders comfortable on steeps, moguls and powder.
