Hi all, we're moving next spring to Palm Beach County. Specifically to the Boca Raton area. We want our children to get an excellent education (of course) but also ensure they're in a safe school. Any feedback about local private / public schools would be much appreciated!! TYIA

All the top private schools here are good in terms of academic, curriculum, quality of teachers, and security. You'll want to tour in order to get a better feel for the vibe of the school.

The public elementary schools here - Whispering Pines, Sunrise, etc. are really good academically. Extracurricular and security wise not so much.

You should book a trip in advance just to see the schools. Tour the private and public. Note that the private schools all currently have multi-year waiting lists. Look into American Heritage, Pine Crest, St Andrews, North Broward, also Donna Klein Jewish, St John Paul, Boca Prep. The list is long, but the first 4 I listed are the biggest. Each with its own pros removed link
