International School of Boston is a preschool through grade 12 school that offers a distinctive bilingual environment for children as early as 3 years old. Based on the French national curriculum and the Massachusetts Common Core standards, the Maternelle preschool program provides a well-planned pedagogical approach that prepares children for lower school.
Daily activities establish the foundation for all future learning. Children have the opportunity to safely explore the world around them through art, music, drama and gross-motor skills activities. English- and French-speaking teachers work with students, individually and together, to enhance their bilingual experience.
Schedule
Maternelle classes begin at 8:15am and drop off is available as early as 7:30am. Dismissal is at 3:00pm.
Extended Hours
Extended afternoon hours is available until 6:00pm.
Summer Program
Camp d’ete is open to all students entering PreK through 5th grade. The summer camp offers a variety of theme-related activities, including arts and crafts, drama, field trips, and outdoor fun.
