Detailed Information

Camp Thoreau has been fostering youth development since 1951. Offering an engaging outdoor camp and tennis camp on 35 wooded acres, campers aged 4 through rising 10th graders build confidence, teamwork, responsibility and friendship. Each camper is empowered to identify their individual strengths and celebrate their unique personality.

A traditional summer day camp is offered as well as specialty camps such as Dance, Multi-Sports, Ninja Warrior, Tennis, and Theater. Special sessions during the traditional camp may offer campers with field trip and overnight camp opportunities.

Lunch

Camp Thoreau partners with Red Apple Lunch. Campers may register for lunch service on a weekly basis.

Extended Day

Early drop off and extended day is available on a weekly basis for an additional fee.

Transportation

Bus service is available from many areas, including Arlington, Belmont, Concord, Lexington, Newton, Sudbury, and other areas. An additional fee applies.
